How it works
From “I need a house” to “I have moved in” — and what each step costs.
1. Tell us what you need
Search the site yourself, or send us your budget and the area you want. Both are free.
2. We check what is really open
Before a house appears here we call or visit the caretaker. Every listing shows the date we last checked, so you are not chasing a house that was taken last month.
3. See the house properly
Photos, rent, deposit, what is included, and what is around it — shops, chemists, banks, stages and schools, with how far each one is.
4. Unlock the exact location
The area is always free to see. When you are serious about a house, KES 100 gets you the map pin, directions to the gate and the landmark. You pay once per house.
5. Go and see it
Go on your own, or ask us to take you. Being shown around costs KES 300, and we only ask for it once the visit is agreed.
6. Move in
We introduce you to the caretaker or landlord and you deal with them directly on the rent and deposit. We never hold your deposit.
What things cost
| What | Cost | When you pay |
|---|---|---|
| Searching and browsing | Free | Never |
| Asking us to find a house | Free to ask | Never |
| Exact location of a house | KES 100 | Before we show you the pin |
| Being taken to see a house | KES 300 | Once the visit is agreed |
| Full house-hunting service | KES 500 | Agreed on the phone first |
We never ask for rent or a deposit on behalf of a landlord. Pay those to the landlord or caretaker directly, after you have seen the house.
